Delete a bot and disconnect its accounts
Understand permanent deletion, connection cleanup, saved copies, and what to do if cleanup cannot finish.
Keep what you need before deleting
Deletion cannot be undone. If you only want a temporary break, pause hosting instead. Save any source you want to keep using the available download or GitHub backup controls, and confirm that your copy contains the version you need.
- Return to Your bots and find the correct project.
- Choose its Delete action and read the confirmation.
- Select Delete permanently only when you intend to remove the project and its data.
- Wait for confirmation. If cleanup cannot finish, follow the displayed retry or account-review instructions. An error is not confirmation that deletion completed.
What deletion removes
Permanent deletion removes the project, its saved source, project data, and connected hosting. Cleanup also disconnects its WhatsApp session, revokes its saved X authorization, removes its Telegram webhook, and revokes unused private share links. Provider cleanup can take time or require account review before deletion completes.
Deleting a CookMyBots project does not delete your external Telegram bot identity, X account, or WhatsApp account. It does not erase a separate GitHub repository or recall independent copies that others already imported. Review Connected Apps in X or Linked devices in WhatsApp if you need to confirm external access, especially after an older deletion or a cleanup warning.
Deletion does not refund usage already incurred or clear an amount owed. Your account’s recorded charges remain in Billing. A source backup does not restore customer records or recreate platform authorizations.
